    1.   To form a mental image or concept of.
    Synonyms: visualize, envisage, picture, see in the mind’s eye…

    Imagination is what you have left late at night when your body is tired but your mind is wide awake. It is the agent that transforms inspiration into realization. At the least, it is a form of entertainment. At the most, it is human.
     

    WHO WE ARE

    The Zephyr team is a group of creative students who are passionate about art, expression, and literature. The Zephyr is edited and produced by the Hawaii Preparatory Academy  senior Creative Writing class taught by Ms. Kiera Horgan. The senior Creative Writing  class is made up of five dedicated student artists: Aidan Brown '18, Alex Thomas '18, Kate Gargiulo '18, Hayley Emmons '19, and Sara Heymann '18. The Digital Zephyr is produced by Zoe McGinnis '18. Most photos featured as backgrounds in this volume are supplied by talented student photographer Fatima Garcia '20.  All literature and visual artwork is original and student-produced.
