Voyage

April 8, 2017

When you boarded,

Flowers trailed behind you.

The sun rose east to west,

Though your captain strange.

I will wash the laundry- you never did anyway-

Rapid spin will come before tumble dry.

I will still sleep in the nest of warm cloth.

My tears will dry and evaporate.

Your mother will sing in the shower,

Soap will bubble,

Water will flow,

And we will journey behind you.
