Hidden Writer (4th Place)

April 3, 2017

Simple words strung together

Create complex thoughts

You claim to be a writer

But leave words trapped on your tongue

Thoughts left unspoken

Are some of the worst

Because if you just urged yourself

If you just had a drop of self-esteem,

You could be solving the unsolvable

You are masterpiece

Broken up into torn corners

An original being.

Your thoughts are nothing like the others

Let the words trickle out of your mouth

The way you pour them onto paper

Let your personal thought ring in everyone's ears

Be a writer.

Make some roles.

Some stories.

Create the people you are afraid to be.

Take pride in your ability to imagine

Be A Writer.
