Autumn School

When the bell of autumn rings the leaves fall and move on
You look at the ground and see all the joyful graduates scattering the sidewalks and grass
Above you see the proud parents and teachers keeping its structure, but looking so empty
Colleges pass by like strangers, so caught up in the moment to notice surroundings
Every now and then a college bends down and admires the graduate
Sometimes even bringing it along with them
It must be because of unique shape or color, how much autumn is in it.
The next year starts and the never ending cycle begins
The strong structured parents grow out the young green, vibrant leaves
Once matured and orange it will be their time to be picked up and kept
Everyone has their time
Wait to fall and be picked
Don’t be picked then fall out of line
