White Road
Water is rushing, but nothing is seen
We feel the water at our feet, so cold
Leave the tunnel, you are engulfed by green
We enter the next to smell moss and mold
The sound of the water is revealed now
It is a huge man made slide, built for kings
The dark, smelly hike was all worth it, wow
We climb up the rope, our nerves shake and sing
We take turns sliding, we are all smiles
The rush paused by the cold, it’s cold as snow
In the moment, not the hike, it’s miles
We use a flashlight in the dark to glow
The hike back feels so much shorter than there
Smiles are big, and moss is in our hair
