The sun was shining on that parents’ day.
The warm breeze was comforting and gentle.
Sometimes it is raining, but that’s okay.
We’re dry; the roof’s slanted at an angle.
The hike there can be tiring yet fun.
You feel great when you finally get there
And see the horses, coats bright in the sun.
You breathe deeply in, it smells so fresh here.
Inside is like a robotic jungle,
Telescopes, computers, robots, and drones,
Codes, 3D printers, wires in a jumble.
Busy at times, but you may be alone.
Days like this I will remember always,
Whether it is sunny, rainy or gray.
