Pololu Valley
We went to Pololu Valley today
The ocean and nature left us in awe
Swinging trees, gusts of strong wind, ocean spray
Small pebbles, grass blades, a tiny crab claw
Cold weather, like Petaluma in May
Black sand, like a mustache on a grandpa
Foggy clouds, gray skies, the earth’s lazy day
Waves crashing on the sand, without a flaw
A path down to the black beach, a stairway
Down to the purest form of nature, raw
Gray and black rocks, with a few rusty strays
The ocean and nature left us in awe
A rainbow greeted us on the way home
Waving hello, then disappearing, *poof*
